Overview
The Dell™ Travel Remote is a small remote control that users can carry with them while traveling. This remote is small enough to be stored in the ExpressCard™ slot and provides simple functionality for enjoying multimedia content. The remote control fits neatly in the ExpressCard slot but it does not recharge its battery while in the slot.
The remote works with the Dell MediaDirect™ application and is also compatible with the Windows Vista™ Media Center and Microsoft® PowerPoint®. With no software interface or product specific driver needed for this remote to work, this remote offers ease of use and operation. It is compatible1 with any Dell system that has a consumer IR receiver. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.

1The Dell Travel Remote is not compatible with any Dell Latitude™ or Dell Precision™ mobile computer, regardless of when the computer was manufactured. The Dell Travel Remote is compatible with most other Dell portable computers that have a consumer infrared receiver and were manufactured after January 31, 2007.
